Alia

Alia started her music and theatre career at a young age with studying voice, piano, and dance. As a teenager, she traveled the world in theatrical youth outreach programs, was involved in All State competitions, and was a professional stage actor. She attended NYU’s Tisch School where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre.

Keeping along a creative path, Alia diversified and became a housewares buyer and designer for Urban Outfitters. She went back to school for Interior Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. After becoming an interior designer, Alia always kept music in her life by singing, playing the piano, learning drums and now guitar.

Alia and her husband moved to the Twin Cities in 2009, and she became a proud parent in 2011 to her son Hudson. Alia is thankful to have found Music Together as it is the perfect opportunity to bring together so many of her passions and share them with other parents and caregivers.
